Who pays the Broker Commissions in a real estate transaction where 2 Brokers are involved?
If you said the Seller, you are not alone!
If you think about it, it is the Buyer who pays the commission through the sales price and the Seller who determines the amount.
I don’t know how or if:
the Buyer’s Agent Commission lawsuit against the National Association of REALTORS® is going to affect the way we get paid moving forward. [The guilty verdict was just rendered against the National Association of REALTORS and other defendants.]
What I do know:
is that if you attend this workshop you will be able to articulate clearly to Sellers how the current system benefits them and to Buyers what your value is to them.
Specifically, you will learn:
- how our current Agency representation came to be
- how to describe in reality the way the system works to Sellers
- how it would BENEFIT Sellers to pay a Buyer’s Agent’s Commission and how it could HURT them not to!
Let’s not stop there! Now is the time to up your Buyer game too!
Let’s say the commission structure does change, do you feel confident that you provide enough value to your Buyer clients to justify getting paid thousands of dollars?
If you follow my formal process for pre-qualifying, consulting with, and showing homes to Buyers, you will nail down your Buyer process, level up your skills, and feel confident to get paid regardless of who is paying.
Specifically, you will learn:
- the key information I collect before a Buyer consult
- the key talking points of a Buyer consult
- the language I use to ask Buyers to make a buying decision at every home without sounding salesy!
