Sr Level Engineer 3 – Java, Python, React, API, CI/CD, GraphQL, AWS, SQL/NoSQL – Motion Recruitment – los angelas, CA

Our client in the Tax automation services industry is urgently hiring multiple Sr level Full-stack Java/Python engineer with strong API, CI/CD and AWS Cloud experience.

This position is a longterm CTH position and MUST be able/willing to go onsite 2 days a week in LA office.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the business and development teams to create an amazing user experience while working in agile development environment with short sprints and standups. Implement proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software. While maintaining and supporting existing software and IaaS systems, infrastructure, and production. Assist. Working to support staff and team members in trouble-shooting software issues and implementing bug fixes. mindset of E2E ownership of not only the code but the customer is key.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in or knowledge of Java, Python, and React are a must with a strong preference of familiarity with data modeling using SQL of any type
• Proven history of driving projects and capabilities at scale.
• Experience with the following technologies also desired but not required:

• Understanding and knowledge of virtualization and containers is needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong programming skills including software engineering methodologies and best practices.
• REST/API development.
• Strong experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience working in a Linux development environment.
• Strong experience with relational databases, and specifically Athena, Elasticsearch, Redis.
• Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills.
• Experience with both Graphql and RESTful API
