Snr Frontend Engineer -Immediate Need – Chobanian Group – Remote

What you will be doing

Our client is one of the fastest growing tech companies in history! Supporting this rapid growth requires top talent, which could be you. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join their Cloud Capacity Engineering team. 

• You’ll work with others in a disciplined agile dev environment to solve diverse technical challenges.
• As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll build products and services that are highly available and scalable to serve customers.
• Design and build web applications with the latest web technologies – React, GraphQL, Flow, Typescript, CSS in JS, node.js, and leverage open-source frameworks such as Base UI, styletron, and Fusion.js to build compelling solutions.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain systems and codebase, health, refactor and make improvements, and keep our systems robust and resilient.
• Write clear documentation so that other engineers can contribute and deliver.
• Be a mentor and trusted advisor for both our dedicated team members and passionate leaders alike

Must have qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience building complex single-page applications.
• Experience or familiarity with React and GraphQL.
• Experience with building FE applications using a type system with Javascript (Flow or Typescript).

Competencies

• Background in building high-performance, scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience working with any data visualization libraries e.g., D3, Nivo, Chart.js
• Knowledge in one of the backend languages: Java, Python, Golang.
• Grit, drive and a strong sense of ownership coupled with an appetite for collaboration! 

Location: This position is fully remote. However, you must reside in the US or Puerto Rico.

     

Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience.
• We are looking to hire an FTE. (Alternate arrangements are possible for ideal candidates).
• Not Corp to Corp. Also, not accepting individuals whose work permits are not transferable.
