Remote React Native Software Engineer – ClearBridge Technology Group – Remote

Our client, a professional services firm, is looking to hire a Software Engineer  for a 3 month remote contract position with the chance of extension.  The contract will run at a minimum through the end of the year.  The consultant will be responsible for supporting a federal customer and ongoing project and will be working on both the front-end as well as back-end. 

The consultant will be utilizing React native for the front-end as well as NodeJS on the backend with GraphQL for a data query and manipulation language for APIs.  The consultant will be expected to operate as an individual contributor and will be manning support tickets coming in through JIRA.  The team conducts daily standups at 12 pm EST as well as scheduled Agile ceremonies aligned with the teams schedules.

The first week will be spent gaining full system access and technical onboarding as well as reviewing technical documentation to get familiar with the code base. 

Required Skills:

• At least 8 years of experience as a software developer working with both front-end and back-end development in large enterprise environments 
• Agile experience is a must
• Front end React/React Native experience
• NodeJS experience
• Experience building data APIs on a microservice platform
• Experience with GraphQL and API gateways
• Experience working in containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience working in full stack monorepos
