Join us for “Real Talk on Motherhood: An Emotional Wellness Workshop for Mothers,” a virtual event hosted by Arbor Counseling Centers.
About the Event:
Motherhood is a wonderful journey, yet it can be challenging. Juggling family, work, and personal life can impact your emotional well-being. This workshop provides a safe and nurturing environment for mothers to connect, share their experiences, and navigate the highs and lows of motherhood together.
This group will be led by Grace Montes, MA LPC, NCC, ACS, Cynthia Vanadium,M.ED., LPC, NCC, and Cristina Cobos-DaCruz, MA.
Goals:
- Candid conversations
- Creation of community
- Gain concrete, tangible skills
- Gain an understanding of your emotions and address cognitive distortions (unhelpful thought patterns)
- Reduce negative self talk
What to Expect:
Candid Conversations: We’ll have honest and open discussions about the emotional challenges of motherhood, from stress and anxiety to self-care and self-discovery.
Expert Guidance: Our experienced counselors will provide valuable insights and coping strategies to help you navigate the emotional complexities of motherhood.
Community Support: Connect with other mothers who understand what you’re going through. Build a network of community and friendship.
Empowerment: Learn how to prioritize your emotional wellness and cultivate resilience as a mother.
Who Can Attend:
This event is open to all mothers 25-45, regardless of background, or stage of motherhood. Whether you’re a new mom, an experienced one, or anywhere in between, you’re welcome to join us!
Let’s come together to embrace the real challenges of motherhood and empower ourselves to thrive emotionally. We’re here to support you on your journey!

- Refrain from giving advice to others
- During group calls: Be in an area that can provide privacy for yourself and others
