The Palliative Care Quality Collaborative (PCQC) is excited to host its second annual virtual Quality Matters Conference (QMC) on December 14-15, 2023 to promote best practices and training for high quality palliative care to patients with serious illness and their loved ones. QMC is open to all members of the palliative care and serious illness community.
This year, the theme of Quality Matters is highlighting work in palliative care that promotes the Institute of Medicine’s Six Domains of Healthcare Quality and we are delighted to once again offer continuing education credits to participants. Like last year’s QMC, we aim to have faculty and participants that are reflective of the diversity of the field in disciplines, organizations, backgrounds, and geographies.
Participants of the conference will receive:
- Digital access to live virtual conference sessions on December 14th & 15th
- Virtual access to recordings of the educational sessions held during the conference
- Up to 8 hours of continuing education credits
In 2022, we welcomed over 23 nationally renowned palliative care clinicians and leaders to cover the spectrum of quality. The 230+ participants were eligible for 8 hours of continuing education credits for multiple disciplines and learned about a wide range of topics from the importance of quality in palliative care, sharing best practices in quality improvement, programmatic and clinical data trends within the field, and the role of health equity in high-quality care.
More information on the conference and PCQC can be found at https://palliativequality.org/qmc-2023.
Please note that the agenda, faculty, and times are subject to change as we approach the dates of the event. All times are listed in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
