It takes work to optimize your career and that includes conducting an effective job search whether you are working or unemployed. Learn the early-stage triggers of when to optimize your career and if your strategy is pro-active or reactive. Learn why taking your time can pay off in assessing your career before starting a job search. Learn if a career pivot can help you get to that better place. Career pivots can be easy to extremely hard and there are specific steps that one can take to help the cause. If you have 30+ years of experience, agism is an additional challenge.
Learn why a rock star resume and LinkedIn profile can make all the difference as a starting point. Learn why a solid and strategic network is so critical and areas where networking can go wrong. Learn if you are putting too much emphasis in one or two singular areas of your job search. Are you doing a targeted job search or relaying too much on the job boards or recruiters? Are you prepared to interview like a lion and articulate your value, ask tough questions even during the initial screening calls? Are you prepared to talk about the strengths of your personality? I am not a TPNG member. Can I attend this event? Does is cost anything to join TPNG? How do I join?
We welcome guests at our networking events, however you are encouraged to join, because membership is FREE and you will get all of the benefits of our online groups. We have a TPNG LinkedIn group which serves as the portal for joining TPNG. Click the Join button and we will review your LinkedIn profile within 24 hours. Once your request has been accepted, you will receive the new member Welcome letter, which contains information on our other online group, our FAQ document and additional information to help you get started with TPNG.
What information is contained in the “roster” that is provided?
The roster will contain the name, email address and personal statement for all registrants. You provide this information when you register.
Do I need to provide proof that I registered for the event?
No, it is not necessary to provide proof of registration. Only the people that register will have access to the information you need to attend the event.
What should I do if I registered and then have a conflict that prevents me from attending?
