1.30pm EST – Workshop & Data Demonstration

Join Dr. Alyasah ‘Ali’ Sewell (Survey Research Director) at a demonstration workshop as they take you through the intersectional design of the survey and explore with you the data currently available through the data portal. Find out about what makes this data set so incredible and how you can use it to strengthen your advocacy, outreach and research.

4.30pm EST – Round Table Discussion

Join Bianca Wilson (The Williams Institute, UCLA), Mira Patel (Board Member, Stonewall Community Foundation), Erin Kilbride (Human Rights Watch), Cathy Renna (National LGBTQ Task Force), Alyssa Lawther (Funders for LGBTQ Issues), and Jaime Grant (co-founder with Urvashi Vaid of the Survey),in discussion with Carla Sutherland (Executive Director, Justice Work) about the opportunities and challenges of using data from the survey to strengthen our movements, shift policy, and increase resource streams to where they are most needed.
