Job Summary:

We are seeking a proficient and versatile Node.js Architect to join our esteemed software services company. This role is ideal for an individual who combines a strong background in Java with hands-on expertise in architecting microservices solutions in Node.js or the MERN stack. As a Node.js Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural direction of our projects, leveraging your deep understanding of Node.js, GraphQL, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Your experience in unit testing, PostgreSQL databases, architectural patterns, and design principles will be crucial in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Moreover, your ability to interact with clients, guide engineering teams, and lead code reviews will contribute to successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

              * Architect and design end-to-end microservices solutions, leveraging your expertise in Node.js and MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React,

Node.js) or equivalent.

              * Provide hands-on leadership by actively participating in coding, especially in Node.js, and setting coding standards.

              * Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and propose effective technical solutions.

              * Create architectural diagrams, including UML and C4 diagrams, to communicate and visualize complex technical concepts.

              * Mentor and guide engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation of architectural strategies.

              * Champion best practices in design patterns, architectural patterns, and coding standards throughout the development lifecycle.

              * Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality, scalability, and adherence to architectural guidelines.

              * Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the codebase.

              * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between architectural vision and implementation.

              * Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Requirements:

              * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

              * 8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in Java and solid hands-on experience in Node.js.

              * Proven experience in architecting microservices solutions using Node.js or MERN stack.

              * Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and GraphQL.

              * Extensive understanding of architectural patterns, design patterns, and software design principles.

              * Experience in creating UML and C4 architecture diagrams to effectively communicate design decisions.

              * Strong knowledge of unit testing methodologies and tools.

              * Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

              * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and guide engineering teams.

              * Ability to lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

              * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

              * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
