Drupal/Gatsby Engineer – InCom Technologies Inc. – Remote

Role : Drupal/Gatsby Engineer

Exp : 9 to 10 years

Duties and Responsibilities:
♦ Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Drupal digital experience platform.
♦ Analyze current Drupal websites within Acquia Cloud in the Federal Healthcare setting.
♦ Recommend improvements based on analysis and implement client-directed changes.
♦ Extend support to websites, utilizing Drupal headless architecture with Drupal back-end and Gatsby frontend.
♦ Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration between Drupal and Gatsby, optimizing performance and user experience.
♦ Implement enhancements and features on the Gatsby frontend, focusing on speed, responsiveness, and overall user satisfaction.
♦ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Drupal-Gatsby setup, addressing any performance bottlenecks or compatibility challenges.
♦ Leverage expertise in DKAN to contribute to the maintenance and support of DKAN-based data platforms, ensuring data accessibility and usability.
♦ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand DKAN requirements and implement effective solutions within the Drupal framework.
♦ Conduct thorough testing of DKAN features and configurations, addressing any issues related to data presentation, visualization, and user interaction.
♦ Participate in cross-functional discussions and provide technical guidance on DKAN integrations, contributing to a cohesive and effective digital experience platform.
♦ Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to Drupal, Gatsby, and DKAN integrations, optimizing synergies across platforms.
Education and Certifications:
♦ A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
♦ Drupal Certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Drupal Developer) is highly desirable
♦ Gatsby Certification or demonstrable experience with Gatsby is preferred

General Experience:
♦ Experience building and deploying production code in a cloud environment
♦ Proficient in Drupal 9 and Strong background in Drupal maintenance and support.
Experience working within the Acquia Cloud environment.
♦ Familiarity with Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF).
♦ Expertise in Drupal headless architecture, particularly in the integration of Drupal back-end with Gatsby frontend.
♦ Must be able to seamlessly build, deploy and host Gatsby sites in AWS cloud environment.
♦ Previous experience with DKAN is a strong plus.
♦ Experience working with JavaScript with multiple Node.js backend applications.
♦ Familiarity with building front end applications using frameworks such as React, Angular JS, and Amber.
♦ Experience building APIs using GraphQL
♦ Working knowledge of database systems and how to write code to interact with them.
♦ Deep understanding of working with Kubernetes, various cloud native tools and Elastic Cloud.
♦ Expertise resolving technical problems related to Scaling, container orchestration, untrusted code etc.
♦ Must be able shift context and dive into a different feature before the current one is done. It may be even an area of the unfamiliar code base.
♦ Must be able to shipping features to end users quickly without scarifying the quality on the project agile delivery cadence.
