    At least 1 year hands on/desktop troubleshooting experience with:
    – Windows 10
    – End user devices (printers, barcode scanners, workstations, etc)
    – O365
    – ServiceNow
    Candidate should be able to handle at least 10 tickets per day
    Position Description
    The End User Device Technician is a highly-visible member of the IT team who is knowledgeable of hardware and software support to end users of computers, printers, mobile devices and related peripherals at AU Health. Assists with life cycle technology refresh and net new technology provisioning and deployments of end user device technology in healthcare environment. Responsible for tagging technology equipment with asset tags, recording assets, imaging, updating, deploying and surplus of all AU Health end user technology. Daily work schedule and location may vary depending on the needs.
    Position Requirements
    Vocational or technical training or degree: Information Technology and 1 years or more of experience in End User Device Support. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Skills required: Communication to technical and nontechnical audiences (written and verbal); Technical knowledge software, hardware, network applications, desktop applications, Apple and Microsoft products; Time Management – adheres to deadlines; Customer Service; Ability to analyze, plan and resolve issues.
    Example Tickets:
    Workstation/endpoint device troubleshooting
    Printers
    Barcode scanner cradle tickets – sometimes there are people simply not charging their cradles correctly and the scanner has a dead battery
    Additional Skills & Qualifications
    Customer facing role – need strong communication skills as they interact with all levels of the organization.
    Customer service is a must
    Previous healthcare experience.
    Exposure to Lansweeper is a plus, as it’s the migration tool they’ll be using to migrate laptops.
