The Black Women in Science and Engineering (BWISE) is thrilled to present an event centered around innovation in Biotechnology and Healthcare. Hosted from September 27-28 at the Texas Medical Center Innovation Factory. The event is an initiative to help address the lack of diversity in the Biotechnology and Healthcare startup space by providing an innovative space for networking and learning. It will consist of one networking night that will bring together Founders, VCs, Engineers, Doctors, and Scientists. And one interactive workshop with presentations, panel discussions from experts, and a professional development workshop.
As the Biotechnology and startup industries continue to evolve, professionals with a keen interest in these fields are invited to join us for an engaging keynote panel on September 28. This event, curated for individuals passionate about biotech, engineering, and entrepreneurship, will feature esteemed speakers who have made significant contributions to their respective industries. We are delighted to announce the participation of Dr. Tia Lyles-Williams, D.Sc., Founder and CEO of LucasPye Bio and HelaPlex, as a confirmed speaker. Her expertise and entrepreneurial journey will provide invaluable insights and inspiration. This event aims to foster connections and facilitate knowledge-sharing among professionals committed to advancing innovation in Healthcare and Biotechnology startups.
By hosting this event, BWISE seeks to provide an inclusive space that encourages underrepresented individuals to pursue entrepreneurship in the Biotech and Healthcare sector. Your participation would greatly enrich the event, allowing you to share your invaluable expertise and provide guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs in the Biotechnology space.
We sincerely believe that your profound insights and experiences would make a significant impact on the attendees, empowering them to navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities in the dynamic world of Biotech and Healthcare Innovation.
