It is no secret that a large segment of the United States has waged war on the Trans community and no one has felt greater effects of that than the Black and Brown Trans community. On November 20th, the day we reflect on the lives lost to Transphobic violence each year, Blaque Out Magazine will be hosting a 2-Part Virtual Community Conversation featuring Black & Brown Trans voices from around the country. The 2-part event will feature multiple panels discussing the legislative, social and socio-economic challenges that face the Trans community as they navigate life and visibility in an often unaccepting world. The three- hour long panels will run back to back on Zoom.
Featuring Blaque/OUT Magazine contributors, Mel Howard and E.L. Winston and Special Guests, Cortez Holmes (TX), Ronnie Angelique Godwin (FL), Jevon Martin (TX) | Yemeya Delacruz (NY), Ocean Rivera (NY) | Tee Douglas (NY), Tori Cooper (GA), MX Dahlia Belle (OR), Oluwadamilare (DC), Arrie Moore (NY) and Brittan Hardgers (NY).
Moderated by: Tamara Leigh, Editor of Blaque/OUT Magazine
