With the advent of ChatGPT, interest in Question Answering (QnA) systems is at an all time high. In this talk we will walk you through the process of building a QnA system using GPT and Knowledge Graphs to answer biomedical research questions.
- First we will walk through how we acquired and fused all the relevant biomedical data into a knowledge graph using our open source library Graphster running on top of your data lake.
- We also provide an overview of the biomedical knowledge graph we built in the process and the entities and relations in the database and how they can be useful for various medical purposes such as clinical decision support and drug discovery.
- Next we will outline how we trained a model to convert a natural language question into a SPARQL query that is capable of querying the knowledge graph.
- Finally, we will outline how we combined this with text based retrieval models to augment the QnA system and demo it using various real-world questions and compare it to other popular systems like Google and ChatGPT.
