Job Title: Java/Angular Developer

Location: Durham, NC 

MUST HAVE: Angular, GraphQL, Node, React/Redux, HTML, CSS, UI.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Leverage your expertise in Angular to create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, adhering to best practices and ensuring scalability.
• Utilize ORM tools, like Hibernate or JPA, for efficient data management and integration.
• Incorporate Swagger to create comprehensive API documentation, ensuring clear communication and ease of integration for other teams.
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka to facilitate efficient data communication across various components.
• Utilize AWS cloud platforms, including EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, and S3, to design, deploy, and manage scalable applications.
• Collaborate on IAM Roles, KMS, and access controls to ensure data security and manage user permissions effectively.
• Work with AWS-managed Kubernetes service (EKS) to deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize AWS NoSQL databases, such as DynamoDB, to develop and manage data storage solutions.
• Leverage CloudWatch for monitoring and logging, ensuring high system availability and performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, incorporating Docker and Kubernetes for seamless application deployment and updates.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement best practices in AWS cloud architecture and modern DevOps methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience (at least 3 years) with Angular for front-end development.
• In-depth knowledge of building RESTful APIs, microservices, and messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka).
• Familiarity with ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate, JPA) for efficient database interaction.
• Expertise in AWS cloud platforms (EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, IAM Roles, KMS, EKS, CloudWatch).
• Experience with AWS NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
