myNetworkHer, a mentorship platform created by two 15 year olds geared towards gender-marginalized high school students and BobaTalks, a platform that guides all students through personal and career development are hosting a virtual event on July 29th from 3 to 4pm EST. Moderated by Disney Intern, Student and LinkedIn Top Voice Morgan Young with panelists Christina Warmbrunn, Senior Program Manager @ Riot Games and Science Communicator, Dr. Greetchen Díaz Muñoz.
This fireside chat will create an inclusive and open space to learn about various aspects of STEM careers, and being marginalized in the STEM field. Attendees will be able to ask questions and join in on the empowering conversation.
Moderator
Morgan Young is a 20-year-old, Gen Z Content Creator, Speaker, and Technologist with an audience on LinkedIn of 11k+ and 2.7M+ content views. She is also a 4x ex-Disney Intern (Product Management, Enterprise Technology), a student studying Computer Science & Engineering with minors in Math & Entrepreneurship, at the University of Nevada, and a member of the LinkedIn for Creators program.
She is passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and representation in the technology, venture capital, and creator spaces. Currently, she’s engaging these initiatives as an advisor for NetworkHer, a Strategic Advisor for a womxn-founded startup, and a Venture Fellow/Scout with Soma Capital & GenZScouts, focusing on underrepresented founders i.e. women, LGBTQ+, first-generation, etc.
Panelists
Dr. Greetchen Díaz-Muñoz is a scientist, educator, communicator and advocate of diversity and inclusion in the careers of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Throughout her professional career, Greetchen has participated in countless initiatives in Puerto Rico, the United States and beyond, including the creation of projects and collaborations in science education, communication, outreach and public policy.
Dr. Díaz has received numerous awards and honors from various organizations, including Puerto Rico’s Senate and the House of Representatives for her service in science and education. Also, her work and projects has been featured on a diversity of local and international media outlets. Dr. Díaz-Muñoz completed a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Biology, at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez. Then, she earned her PhD in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at The Ohio State University, and completed a postdoctoral researcher at the Nebraska Center for Virology, University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Christina Warmbrunn Senior Program Manager at Riot Games! The work she does supports and enables Rioters on Technology teams, empowering them to bring their most authentic selves while continuing to do amazing work. She makes this happen by making their wins more accessible internally through video newsletters, podcasts, and speaker series!
In her first few months at Riot, she developed a multi-day speaker series magnifying the importance of women in tech spaces. She worked with her team to find innovative ways to amplify Rioter voices to share anecdotes and strategies for teams to continue supporting and championing diverse talent at all levels.
