As the API External Portal Squad Leader, you blend application development and deep cloud expertise with a passion for delivering results. As the product owner you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the squad mission, strategy, and tactical execution associated with delivering on strategic priorities. In an agile structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps and resource requirements, set and refine the mission, and bring together a team of chapter members to execute on specific product features that help application teams across Fidelity utilize our cloud ecosystem to its fullest capability. You will ensure alignment on the u201Cwhatu201D and u201Cwhenu201D work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog. You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success. • Defining, refining, and communicating the squads’ mission and roadmap to motivate and build team and partner support and alignmentu00A0

• Anticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as their voice and guide execution of the teamu00A0

• Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against acceptance criteriau00A0

• Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impedimentsu00A0

• Measuring performance against established objectives and KPI s that deliver on agreed upon business, technology, and people resultsu00A0

• Collaborating and coordinating with Chapter Leaders and Scrum Masters to build squad capacity and capability and enabling squad member growth, development and learningu00A0

• Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelinesu00A0

• Experience in building developer portals preferably external facing portals.u202Fu00A0

• Building product vision, strategy and roadmap for Developer portal with close collaboration with BU partners.u00A0

• Strong background in API Platforms focused on self-service onboarding, discovery/catalog of APIs and integration patterns with various iDPs.u202Fu00A0

• Operationalize the portal at scale through the Developer Experience Platform in collaboration with the product, engineering, design & tech writer teams.u00A0

• Strong in User Experience and ability to lead & influence at every phase of the product lifecycle from vision/ideation, to design & solution evaluation & launchu00A0

• Deep knowledge in Developer Experience platforms and identify industry trends that provide detailed insights into the competitive landscape and best practices.u00A0

• Technical expertise in all types of APIs including REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, Webbooks and SDKs.u202Fu00A0

• Experience in building automated API documentation and content management solutions.u202Fu00A0

• Deep knowledge on emerging technology stacks in CNCF and Open source world.u00A0

The Expertise and Skills You Bringu00A0

• Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.u00A0u00A0

• 8-12+ years work experience, several of those in CNCFu00A0 technology, languages (Go, Lua, Rust, Java).u00A0

• Practical experience in building cloud hosted and native applications for the enterprise. Maintains a deep understanding of a wide variety of cloud technology in order to provide recommendations and advice to Fidelity application teams.u00A0

• Experience designing, developing and maintaining dynamic products and solutionsu00A0

• Financial services experience, preferredu00A0u00A0

• Agile experienceu00A0u00A0

• Jira and Jira Align experience preferredu00A0

• You take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value deliveredu00A0

You will integrate with development teams across Fidelity to understand their usage and need of cloud services to drive efficient and intelligent adoption of cloud at scale.u00A0
