Description:

• Contribute to our engineering team in the following areas:
• Design, develop, build, and test software for embedded systems
• Bluetooth/BLE software design and implementation on embedded devices
• Integration of embedded devices with networked/cloud services
• Cloud infrastructure design and implementation
• Full-stack web development for public, customer-facing web applications

Skills:

C/c++, Development, web development, Embedded software, iot, html, javascript, aws

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in software development
• Strong experience in one or both of the following:
• Embedded software development
• Web application development
• 4-year degree in computer science or related discipline e.g., robotics, software engineering, information systems, etc.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded or server environments
• Working knowledge of good development practices, design patterns, testing, security and version control
• Readiness to work and collaborate in a team environment

Preference for:

• Understanding of BLE and relevant protocol stacks and hardware
• Exposure to IoT systems and related technology and concepts (MQTT, RPC edge computing)
• Web development experience including JSON, Javascript, HTML, CSS, REST/GraphQL APIs, and frontend/UI development.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud computing services
