Autodesk Construction Solutions is looking for an amazing Senior Software Engineer to help us build and maintain the highest quality apps, tools, and services. Our users are building some of the most impactful construction projects in the world, and they use Autodesk Construction Cloud on a daily basis to collaborate with each other and find information that’s critical to getting their jobs done.

**Position Overview**

As a senior engineer on the Automation Tooling team, your mission will be to build, deliver, and maintain self-serve apps and services to simplify Admin Platform workflows for our stakeholders. You will collaborate with a team of excellent engineers to accomplish this mission. Our carefully crafted automated solutions provide a delightful experience for Engineering and Engineering Support teams. Our engineering culture will empower you to make effective decisions, work collaboratively, and take accountability for automation projects at the core of the company and the leading edge of the latest industry technology trends.

**Responsibilities**

+ Design, develop, and deliver full-stack, high-value, cloud-based applications and experiences

+ Conduct timely code reviews with ablamelessand learning mindset

+ Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions by actively participating in quality assurance efforts

+ Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders,locallyand across the globe

+ Participate in an agile-based development practice delivering value at high velocity

+ Create reusable automation libraries, patterns, and APIs that can be shared across the enterprise on a unified platform

+ Work with open-source tools, rich dashboards, and implement proactive monitoring solutions

+ Work on automation opportunities across various domains and business systems as the need arises

+ Optimize and support our existing public cloud solutions and workloads

+ Cross-team collaboration and coordination to ensure reliable, secure, available, and scalable releases

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or equivalent experience

+ At least 3 to 5 years of software development experience

+ Extensive development experience with languagessuch asNodeJS, Python, TypeScript,Java, Groovy, etc.

+ Practical experience building UI with one or more modern libraries/frameworks like React, Angular, or other

+ Understanding of REST and ability to build REST APIs with Python

+ Experience shipping code withCI/CD pipelinesuch as Jenkins and Spinnaker

+ Excellent analyzing and problem-solving skills

+ Team player attitude with a willingness to lead when necessary

+ Ability to document requirements and specifications

+ Experience with metrics collections, reporting, and analysis

+ Self-motivated, autonomous, empathetic, and great communication skills

+ Experience with agile development lifecycle

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience working with AWS technologies

+ Experience in GraphQL or Restful APIs

+ Experience with Automation of processes

+ Experience mentoring and coaching team members

+ Experience with apps such as DataDog, Splunk, SonarQube, Postman

+ Experience with API Contract Testing

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $103,300 and $178,200. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
