The Lead Website Engineer is a critical technology leadership role for the evolution, development, and operations of our Digital Marketing web ecosystem. We are seeking a motivated, talented, and experienced technologist to lead our global Web team. This role reports to the Director of Global Marketing and Commerce platforms in our Xerox Digital Experience technology organization.

• Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline Excellent management and communication skills – written and verbal (English) Ability to articulate complex problems confidently and concisely Operate independently with minimal supervisionSkills and Experience Minimum: 8 years of relevant hands-on experience with modern web technologies Hands on and demonstrable experience with the following TypeScript React, Express, Jest, TSX, JSS, WebPack, Rollup CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI & Github Actions) Web Services (REST, GraphQL, etc) Asynchronous distributed systems Azure Serverless, including: Key-value databases (Redis primarily), networking and traffic management, Functions & App Service. Tagging and analytics administration Application monitoring (NewRelic & Azure Application Insights) Cross-browser development (Safari, Chrome, Edge) Accessible web applications (Voice Over, TalkBack, NVDA) Git / Github TDD (Jest) Understanding of Best Practices for Internet-facing Web Applications and eCommerce Applications Development environment configuration. Linting, editor config, etc. Ticket management including architecture and estimation Code review and migration Confidence to debug and diagnose running production applications and take action as necessary Ability to articulate technical problems with service providers and work to resolve issues. Familiarity with web security standards and practices, including investigation of security events, and short and long term remediations Working knowledge of DNS Working knowledge of SSL/TLS certificates and management, including SNI Working knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies (Akamai experience preferred) Experience working on a geographically distributed team, spanning Americas, Europe, and India Real-world experience in an agile delivery environment (Jira or Assembla preferred)
