Full Stack Data Analytics Engineering Lead (Contract-To-Hire)

SUMMARY:
Help the business evolve into a organization motivated by unique data insights for their products. The position drives data operations, builds out data fabric and connects data and analytics throughout the entire corporate enterprise.
DAY-TO-DAY:
- Data product development and integration of published datasets utilizing REST/GraphQL, delivering information for business users across data stacks.
- Utilize data warehouse and streaming data technology architecture utilizing MDM.
- Influence engineering and data operations best practices in tandem with the data analytics team including modernization of code, version, test, automation, ci/cd, code reviews.
- Data modeling for business teams
- Build data tools for more efficient analysis
- Work with IT teams to create powerful data analytics insights for business users
- Machine learning and artificial intelligence project-based work
- Drive enterprise taxonomy and ontology development to connect disparate data across enterprise and enable 360 insights
- Data wrangling and integration throughout disparate systems allowing for data analytics and data scientists for end-to-end data and information.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Multiple years of experience leading teams in a data engineering capacity
- Multiple years of experience in full stack data engineering capacity “hands-on”
- Expertise with Snowflake is required
- Additional experience with tools: dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, Prefect, NoSQL, or transferable skills
- Extensive experience with SQL and RDBMS; NoSQL database systems
- Python and R
- AWS, Azure
- Data wrangling, data integration
- Experience building out data fabric in accordance with enterprise architecture
- Demonstrated ability to quantify/measure impact of actions taken based on insights
- Semantic modeling knowledge and ontology engineering experience is highly desired
- Bachelor’s/Masters in Engineering, IT highly desired or work experience equivalency to supplement
