As a data architect on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for Digital Engineering and readying our clients for merging on-prem with SaaS and PaaS solution architectures . You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by analyzing data architecture-related business needs, developing a vision for future data architecture structures and operations, and contributing to innovation initiatives to modernize how the DoD performs engineering. In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices and use tools like SQL, AWS Data Architecture capabilities, GraphQL, and various other data technologies to design and implement ETL pipelines, support Data-Centric Digital Threads, and drive the next steps to assist our clients in Digital Transformation efforts. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests Cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. You Have: * 10+ years of experience working with an enterprise data management solution and technology, including data analytics, business intelligence, master data management, or data quality * Experience with building Relational Database Management System Data Architectures in support of various projects * Experience with designing complex databases * Experience with building ETL Pipelines * Experience in writing scripts to automate data-centric tasks and management * Experience in database administration for multi-tenant enterprises * Knowledge of Modern Data Architectures and Types * Ability to communicate technical details to wider audiences * Ability to obtain a security clearance * Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: * Experience with Cloud-based data technologies, including AWS or Azure * Experience with Model -based systems engineering Frameworks, including SysML, DoDAF, or UAF * Experience with data integration architecture * Experience as a Database Administrator for multi-tenant enterprises * Knowledge of ontological architectures * Knowledge of alternative database, including Elastic, NEO4j, or MongoDB * IAT II certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD).
