We are seeking a backend cloud developer to join our equipment group. This individual will perform hands-on, full stack web development in support of cloud, mobile and desktop applications, using a variety of modern application development frameworks, languages, and techniques. Responsible for developing and extending our existing aeROS┬о infrastructure to support new device types and capabilities.

Responsibilities

* Works closely with engineering, product management, and QA to design and develop web applications and corresponding/complementary cloud, mobile and desktop applications
* Builds highly scalable service-based web applications
* Ensures programs are performing properly
* Works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting many products on varied release cycles
* Adheres to and promotes the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL

Qualifications

* 3+ years’ web application development experience
* Backend programming experience using .NET Framework/.NET Core and C# is required
* Experience in GraphQL, PostgresSQL, and Microservices development
* Experience working on cloud computing platforms such as GCP, AWS, Microsoft Azure, with GCP experience preferred
* Experience in development for Docker container and Kubernetes desired
* Strong technical skills with the proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality software on time
* Frontend experience in Vue.js is a plus
* Experience building websites for load-balanced environments is a plus
* Experience working in fiber optics is a plus
* Experience working on a Linux platform, Mobile app development (native and Xamarin-based) is a plus
* Experience with Java and Go programming languages is a plus
* Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket, Jira, Scrum
